It’s an idea.
I just registered ourfamilystories.wordpress.com in the hopes of turning it into something interesting that a co-worker mentioned.
I want to attempt to get people to contribute stories from their family history, released under a Creative Commons license of some sort. Details are being worked out, as we speak. (Or as I type.)
This will hopefully be a repository for all those stories families pass down, and perhaps interesting to see if any of them link anywhere. I may eventually put this on another website and build a support database to make it easier to search, if this takes off at all. If it does, this blog will become the official news and blog repository for the site.
